Purpose :

As a Senior Systems Engg Lead, you will play a vital role in defining, implementing, and validating MOD product systems during new development as well as product change management. You collaborate with multiple subsystem teams, to develop overall technical solution and ensure that subsystems are consistent at system level. You are responsible product to meet systems requirements.

You actively collaborate with product managers, architects, and program managers. As a senior technical expert, contributes to planning, risk, and issue management in system level. You assist the Product Owner to analyses change requests and create detailed proposals of changes in specific technology area such as FL requirements, code knowledge standard, tool and systems, layout drawings and system behavior.

Responsibilities:

General

  • Accountable for ensuring overall system level technical consistency.
  • Responsible for advising and guiding the teams on technical risk assessments, Corrective Actions (CAs), simulations, root cause analysis and incident investigation.

Interface management

  • Accountable for governing the interfaces within a system which are not critical from integration and business point of view.
  • Responsible to refer Interfaces which affect system architecture (system level, cross-category, and category level) to Systems Architecture Management (SAM) governance, who has decision making authority on such critical interfaces.
  • Accountable to ensure that Interfaces within responsibility are defined as per the system level requirements, and the corresponding Interface requirements are properly documented and maintained in relevant KONE tools.

New product development initiatives

  • Accountable for technical system requirements creation and their change management, play the process roles, as a senior technical expert from system point of view.
  • Accountable and responsible for requirement decomposition and allocation to component and subsystem level, based on the requirements and specifications defined by product manager, architects and other stakeholders.
  • Accountable for creation and execution of system integration plan and system Verification & Validation plan. Contributes to review component and subsystem level Verification & Validation plans.

Lifecycle management of MOD products

  • Accountable and responsible for Interfaces checks during product change management e.g., Change Requests (CRs).
  • Accountable for creation and execution of system integration plan and system Verification & Validation plan.
  • Accountable for the solution for Modify competitor products.

Develop Capabilities

  • Develops Systems Engineering competence, shares know-how within SE community.
  • Takes ownership of system level documentation.

MOD product roadmaps and prioritization

  • Contributes to MOD roadmaps and portfolio prioritization, leveraging deep knowledge of the products and their engineering.
  • As a local product owner of RG800 & RS800 products.
  • Complicated solution development, e.g. 1/2 FRB solutions.
  • As a code & quality contact point.
  • Plan for MP modernization.

We expect you to have:

  • Minimum a B.Sc. in Mechanical / System Engineering or other engineering disciplines
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in products development experience
  • Fluent written and spoken communication skills in Chinese and English are a must
  • Good MS Office skills are a must, knowledge on CAD and SAP systems or database are an asset
  • Collaborative and customer focused way of working
  • Willingness to learn and a desire to study independently
  • Results-oriented approach with a “can-do” attitude
  • Research / testing / development methodologies
  • Rich PDMVC experience is the better
