Why this role?

The Channel Partner Sales Lead plays a critical role in driving KONE’s growth strategy by combining partnership development with new business generation. This role is responsible for identifying, onboarding, and enabling channel partners while simultaneously developing new business opportunities, managing strategic initiatives, and supporting priority segments.

This role reports to the Channel Partners – KMTA.

Responsibilities and key activities:

  • Identify, evaluate, and support the selection of channel partners in priority markets
  • Drive end-to-end partner onboarding, from NDA to first order, in collaboration with regional teams.
  • Achieve sales, revenue, and profitability targets through channel partners.
  • Develop annual business plans and sales forecasts with partners.
  • Monitor pipeline, opportunities, and conversion rates.
  • Drive demand generation and market penetration initiatives.
  • Train partners on products, solutions, pricing, and sales processes.
  • Support partners in customer presentations, negotiations, and project pursuits.
  • Ensure partners have the tools and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Collaborate with Feeder Factories Process teams to ensure smooth execution
  • Monitor partner performance through KPIs and drive continuous improvement
  •  Collect structured feedback from partners to refine the partnership model
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities aligned with short- and long-term strategic goals
  • Drive competitive positioning of KONE offerings in the market
  • Lead cross-business line (BL) or organization-wide initiatives to implement growth opportunities (e.g., NBS and MOD)

We expect you to have:

  • Strong background in business development, sales, partnerships, or channel management
  • 8 years + experience in Business Developments, sales, partnerships or channel Management
  • Experience working with external partners, distributors, or ecosystems
  • Solid understanding of modernization business or technical B2B solutions
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix and international environment
  • Self-driven with a proactive, “can-do” mindset
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in a relevant field
  • Fluency in English required;
