• Analyze and understand the area’s specific business requirements with that area’s management and global business units in cooperation with other Process Owners
• Guide the development, implementation, utilization and constant improvement of the KONE Way (KW) best practice business processes in the area
• Ensure the acceptance and successful implementation of new business processes and supporting tools in the area
• Design, lead and manage specified process improvements/improvement projects, acting as a global business project manager (where necessary) in development and implementation phases.
• Design, develop, implement and support the global KW Key Performance Indicator (KPI) framework and ensure the accurate reporting of these KPIs.
• Support KONE units in using KPIs to improve their daily operations.

An individual mapped to the Process Management role description will also have the following additional responsibilities depending on if they are a Manager (i.e. physically managing a team), Expert (i.e. at a manager level but without a team) or a Specialist. See definitions of these below:

Process Management - Specialist

Purpose: Individual contributor with developed knowledge in a specific area. Able to apply that knowledge in making decisions and achieving objectives

Responsibilities:
§ Deliver agreed objectives on time and according to budget.
§ Plan objectives with support and guidance from manager
§ Actively communicate all relevant information ensuring close collaboration with GD/ Global Process Owners and with other relevant units
§ Ensure that KONE and GD / Global Process Owners / Local Business Unit policies, procedures and processes are met
§ Gather best practices to share amongst the team and other units/teams
§ Follow up any key developments in your area
