IT Professional - KONE Corporation

This role will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products across web, mobile, and backend platforms. The position plays a key part in validating functionality, identifying defects, and supporting high‑quality release cycles through well‑designed test plans and execution strategies. As part of the Quality Assurance team, you will collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to strengthen overall product quality and contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices.

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and highly motivated Test Engineer with strong analytical abilities and hands‑on experience in manual and/or automated testing. The ideal candidate will be skilled in designing, executing, and maintaining test cases, with the ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional environment. The role requires solid problem‑solving skills, clear communication, and a commitment to ensuring robust and reliable software releases.

Requirements:

  • 6–10 years of experience as a Test Engineer, QA Engineer, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and the SDLC.
  • Hands-on experience with test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or others.
  • Experience with functional and regression testing.
  • Basic understanding of automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Appium, etc.).
  • Experience with API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred required Skills:

  • Knowledge of SQL for data validation.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter or k6.
  • ISTQB or similar certification.

Professional Requirements -(Education)

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Equivalent experience in a related field is also acceptable.
